Glow Recipe Watermelon Kit Review
How is the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Line? Is the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow line any good? I recently emptied all these products, meaning I used them to the very last drop. I thought it’s only fitting to review the Watermelon Glow line and share my thoughts.
Today I will be reviewing these products from Glow Recipe:
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer
Glow Recipe Bio: Glow Recipe is known for using fruit in their products. Their products are formulated with the highest quality natural ingredients. Their skin-care essentials are clean, vegetarian, and Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free.
Things to do know about my skin:
Before I go into depth about each product, I want to share about my skin. I have dry skin and my skin is especially dry in the colder months. I also have sensitive skin; there are certain ingredients I cannot use on my skin. I do get the occasional hormonal acne. I also have texture especially on my forehead, pores and blackheads, and redness.
Glow Recipe Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner: Click here for toner
This toner has tea tree in it and I cannot use tea tree on my face. BUT, I did use this on the rest of my body so this review will be about that experience.
This toner is extremely hydrating. It has a slightly thicker consistently which means it’s not a runny or watery type of toner.
If your skin is fine with tea tree, I highly recommend this toner because it’s extremely hydrating and moisturizing.
With that said, this toner does have a strong scent. While it’s a very pleasant scent, if you’re sensitive to scented skincare, I would get a sample before committing to the full-size bottle. While my skin can’t use tea tree, scented skincare doesn’t irritate my skin.
The PHA & BHA also didn’t bother my skin. I know these ingredients can be strong for some people but I find in this toner its very gentle and easy to use. Even if you have sensitive skin, I think this toner would still be great and effective.
If you’re sensitive to strong scent or tea tree though, I’d suggest using something else.
Overall, I love this product. It’s super hydrating. If you don’t have sensitive skin and is looking for a hydrating toner, TRY THIS OUT!
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer: Click here for moisturizer
This is one of my favorite moisturizers I’ve used. I love this moisturizer. It is great for daily use. I use this moisturizer in the morning. It’s easy to use and doesn’t irritate my skin. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and moisturized.
It is a lighter moisturizer. It’s not a heavy cream. I think this moisturizer would work for all skin types.
Again, it does have a strong scent, but the scent didn’t bother or irritate my skin.
I think this is a great everyday moisturizer and I think it works great on all skin types.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drop: Click here for Serum
If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I LOVE Niacinamide. I’ve written about other Niacinamide serums before. This Niacinamide serum is AMAZING.
I love it’s versatility. It can be used as a serum, a primer, infused with your foundation. It gives me this nice natural glow which I love. It comes in a pump. I just adjust the amount of pumps based on what I’m using it for. If I’m using as a serum under moisturizer, I use two pumps. If I’m using it as primer or in my foundation, I’ll do half a pump to a pump.
I love how hydrating it is. I love that it sinks into my skin and gives my face a nice moisturized healthy glow. It also had brightening properties that I love. This is by far my favorite product out of the three products mentioned in this post.
Again, it has a strong scent, but the scent didn’t bother or irritate my skin.
If you have oily/combo skin, this product may be too dewy for you. But I do think it’s still worth trying. If you have dry skin, HIGHLY recommend this product.
Overall thoughts:
I loved these Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow products more than I thought I would. They are definitely hydrating and moisturizing. They work great on my dry skin. I also do notice a difference in my skin throughout my usage of these products. My skin felt more hydrated and healthier.
The Glow Recipe products are available in different sizes. You can get them from Sephora or glowrecipe.com.
I recommend trying their smaller sizes first to see if it works on your skin before upgrading to bigger sizes.
If you are looking to try these products, Sephora also has all three products in a kit called the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Magic Kit for a great price! There is also a smaller kit with just the dew drop serum and the moisturizer called the Glossy Skin Spell Kit here.
After using Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow line, I’m excited to try their other lines! Currently trying their Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser.
