How to Make Money Online
Who doesn’t mind a few extra dollars into their bank account? I know there are a lot of different ways you can make money online nowadays. But what actually works? Well, I’m sharing 5 ways I’ve made money online. While I know there are a lot of other ways to make money online, these are 5 ways I’ve used and I know that works.
Sell clothes, handbags, and shoes on Poshmark/Depop
If you have clothes you no longer wear but are in good condition, sell them on Poshmark or Depop. (I’ve never used Depop, but I’ve heard it’s very similar to Poshmark). These platforms do take a small commission off your sale but it’s so minute you’ll still make money. Poshmark provides a prepaid shipping label, which is great because all you have to do is stick the label onto the package and drop it off at your local post office. I’ve sold things on Poshmark, and I’ve had a good experience using it.
Take online surveys
I’ve tried a few online surveys, but the only one that was easy to use and easy to navigate is Survey Junkie. It’s free to sign-up. Every survey is worth a certain amount of points and after you’ve accumulated up to a set amount you can redeem those points. Survey Junkie allows you to cash out at just $10! A lot of other surveys have a minimum of $50.
I was surprised at how easy it was to use survey junkie. Each survey shows a tentative duration of how long it might take to complete, and it shows how many points each survey is worth. You’ll be able to determine which survey to take depending on the amount of points you can get and the amount of time you have. The best thing about surveys is that you can take them wherever you are—when you’re waiting at an office, in between class, or during your breaks at work.
Sell décor, toys, furniture, home goods on Facebook
This is a great option if you’re cleaning out or moving out. I’ve sold a couple large furniture items on Facebook. I also scroll through the facebook marketplace a lot to see if someone is selling something I need. This is a great place to sell things like tools, furniture, décor, tech.
Blogging
Blogging is another way to make money online. If you want your blog to create an income, find a niche that you’re interested in and write about it. A few ways you can make money from blogging are sponsored posts, products, or affiliate links.
For affiliated links, I’ve used Share-A-Sale for a couple years and have had great experience with the platform. Share-A-Sale is free to sign-up. From there, you can browse the different businesses and brands available and then apply to be part of their specific affiliate program. It’s easy to use and navigate.
Create things & sell on Etsy
Do you enjoy making things for friends and family? Do you paint photos or make greeting cards? Do you knit or crochet? Try selling them on etsy! If you’re going to gift them away, why not make a few extras and sell them for some extra money. Etsy is a platform full of artisans from all over the world.
It’s a great place to start if you want to start selling your handmade products online.
And those are 5 ways you can make money online. If you’re thinking about starting an online business, there are definitely business-related things you can learn and do. These particular suggestions are just for those months when you want to make some extra cash.
What are some other ways you make money online? Share them in the comments!
