I read a lot of books. I read a lot of good books. Over the years there are books I’ve read that has left a lasting impact on my life. 

Today I want to share 5 books that has helped me with my personal growth and mindset journey.

Big Magic is still hands down one of my favorite books of all time. I think every person should read it. It’s about creativity, creating, passion, job, curiosity, fear, life—it’s beautiful the way Elizabeth covers the topic of creating and finding one’s passion. She gives a tangible examples and stories that has changed the way I saw creativity, art, and passion. This is the book I think everyone should read.

I recently finished Girl, Stop Apologizing. I love the way Rachel talks about starting, procrastination, fulfillment, creating. This book was a wake-up call to me. It made me realize my own purpose, my own gifts and skills, my own creativity and passions. This book really pushes and challenges your limiting beliefs. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to go after their dream or needs extra motivation to get something started.

Everything is Figureoutable is a great book! This book will really shed light and perspective into literally every area of your life. This book is not just about personal growth and development or business, it’s about a change of perspective and life. Marie also provides tangible doable practical things in the book. She goes in-depth into the different topics like fear. Seriously, go read this book. This book is a must-read for anyone!

You probably know Mel from her Ted Talk. But her book, 5 Second Rule, is amazing. She talks about the impact that the 5 second rule has had on her life, and other people’s lives. This book has changed the way I do things. It made me realized that I can’t wait to feel like it because I probably never will feel like it. Such a great book. It’s an easy read. It’s also available in audiobook. If you’re looking to shift your procrastination or shift your productivity mindset, give this book a read.

Year of Yes is a memoir of Shonda’s life. But this book has inspired me to say more yeses to opportunities. This book, she shares her decision to why she made this goal and the impact that it had on her life. This book is real, raw, and magical all at the same time. If you’re looking for inspiration, change, and impact—this is the book to get.

 

Alright friends, those are 5 personal growth and mindset books I think you should read if you haven’t already. These books have left a positive impact on my life in some way, shape, or form. They’ve helped to shed light into my own limiting beliefs and has helped me to shape my old destructive perspective into proactive ones. I recommend all of them.
